Living From The Tree Of Life – One Lamb Per Household

One Lamb for the Household

Generational Salvation through the Lamb of God – Yeshua (Jesus)

Scripture Focus

Exodus 12:3 – “Each man is to take a lamb for his family, one lamb for the household.”

Devotional

Nissan is the first month in God’s appointed calendar—His beginning of beginnings. This is important. It marks a divine reset, a sacred invitation into His times and seasons.

You are not forced to observe the Feasts of the Lord. Abba will never remove your free will. Salvation through Yeshua (Jesus) is secure for those who believe. Yet, there are blessings connected to honoring what He calls holy. When we choose His ways, we step into deeper alignment with His heart.

In Exodus 23:20–33, we see beautiful promises connected to walking in His ways:

  • Divine protection
  • Victory through alignment and positioning
  • Commissioned authority
  • Supernatural health and provision
  • Multiplication and longevity
  • A holy fear released upon enemies
  • Relief from adversaries
  • Dominion and increased inheritance
  • Freedom from corrupt covenants

Nissan begins the cycle of First Fruits and carries within it Passover—the foundation of redemption. This is a powerful time to learn, to remember, and to celebrate.

From the beginning, Adonai established a profound principle: one lamb for one household. If a household was too small, they were instructed to share with their neighbor. This was never meant to be isolated—it was always communal, always generational.

Yeshua (Jesus), our Messiah, is that Lamb.

John 1:29 declares: “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

And through Him:

Revelation 12:11 reminds us that we overcome “by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.”

This is not just theology—it is inheritance.

Many believers are awakening to the Hebraic roots of their faith, recognizing that God operates within a sacred calendar He established from the very beginning. In Genesis, when God spoke creation into existence, He also set times and seasons in motion—appointed moments to meet with Him.

These Feasts are not burdens; they are invitations.

The call is not merely to know about God, but to live from the Tree of Life—to love what He loves, simply because we love Him.

James 4:7–8 calls us deeper:

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee… Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”

Through Yeshua, we are brought into what Ephesians 2:14–16 calls “one new humanity.” He Himself is our peace—removing division and reconciling us to God through His sacrifice.

This does not remove us from God’s appointed times—it invites us into them.

Passover reveals the heart of the Father:

A Lamb given.

A household covered.

A people delivered.

When the blood was applied to the doorposts in Egypt, it marked protection, deliverance, and covenant. Today, through Yeshua, we apply that same truth spiritually—over our lives, our families, and our generations.

This is why “one Lamb for the household” still speaks today.

It is an invitation to:

  • Cover your family in the finished work of Jesus
  • Declare salvation over your household
  • Share the Good News with those near you

As Yeshua said in Mark 16:15:

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

A Heart Posture of Celebration

We do not celebrate Passover out of religious obligation—but out of relationship.

We gather, we remember, we give thanks.

We honor the Lamb—Yeshua—who brought us from death into life.

Each year, we ask the Lord to teach us how to celebrate His ways more fully, more purely, and more intimately.

And as we do, He reveals more of His heart.

A Gentle Invitation

Take a moment and ask the Lord:

“Abba, how do You want me to honor You in this season?”

He is faithful to guide you into all truth (John 16:13).

There are many traditions in the world, but not all of them reflect His Word. This is not about condemnation—it is about invitation. The Word of God is complete, living, and full of truth.

He desires closeness with you.

Reflection Question

What would it look like for me and my household to intentionally honor the Lamb in this season?

Decree & Prayer

Father, in Yeshua’s Name,

I thank You for the Lamb—Jesus the Messiah—given for my household.

Today, I apply the blood of the Lamb over my life, my family, and my generations.

I declare that I have passed over from death into life by the blood of the Lamb.

I thank You for Your deliverance, Your protection, and Your covenant promises.

I ask for salvation to flow through my household and to those near me.

Teach me to honor You in Your appointed times.

Show me how to love what You love.

Holy Spirit, lead me into all truth.

May the Shalom of Yeshua be my portion always,

And may I receive all that You have for me.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Closing Blessing

Yeshua (Jesus) is King of kings and Lord of lords.

May His Shalom—His wholeness and peace—rest upon you and your household.

Blessings and Shalom,

Love Beyond Measure,

Beth Auman

Living From the Tree of Life

Adar 5786 — Declaring the End From the Beginning

By Beth Auman and JoBeth Kested

Living from the Tree of Life is learning how God declares the end of a thing from the beginning. The month of Adar 5786 is the twelfth month on Gods Holy Calendar, the most joyful month when He turns bitter things sweet. It is the month where sorrow must give way to rejoicing, and hidden deliverance is revealed.

Many times in life, we focus on beginnings and hope we will finish strong. God begins with the end already established. What I have learned through celebrating Rosh Chodesh on Gods Holy Calendar is that He invites each of us to meet personally with Him in His appointed times His moedim.

Shabbat weekly rest

Rosh Chodesh the first fruits of each new month

Rosh Hashanah celebrations for the civic new year

All His appointed feasts including Yom Kippur, Passover and Shavout/Pentecost

Through the free will He has given us, we choose whether or not we will keep these divine appointments. Personally, I have come to treasure these times in my heart. I thank God that I get to meet with Him at His appointed times. What a privilege, not obligation, but an invitation. When we choose to keep our appointments with Him, He pours out fresh revelation withunderstanding that enables us to move forward strategically. Now!

This is the essence of living from the Tree of Life:

Our Abba is the Master Strategist.
He holds every answer.
He illuminates our path.
He teaches us to walk circumspectly in His timing to love what He loves, doing what He says, simply because He says it and His Word is true.

Declaring the End From the Beginning

Please read this Scripture aloud to Abba:

Remember things that happened at the beginning, long ago that I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. At the beginning I announce the end, proclaim in advance things not yet done; and I say that my plan will hold, I will do everything I please to do. (Isaiah 46:910 CJB)

Did you hear Him? At the beginning, He announces the end. Before you ever step into the month, He has already declared its victory. Before the battle appears, He has already written the outcome. Before the strategy unfolds, He has already secured the plan.

Shabbat and Rosh Chodesh: Divine Strategy Points

Abba meets with us on Shabbat, at the close of our week, Friday evenings through Saturday and in this time of rest He imparts strategy for what lies ahead.
He meets with us at Rosh Chodesh, at the beginning of the new moon, the new month, revealing new prophetic insights withrevelation and wisdom for the next season before us.
He gives light for our path because His Son, Yeshua, is the Light of the world.
He does not leave us guessing.
He invites us into understanding.

Adar
The Month of Sweet Exchange

When JoBeth and I began writing our book, The Quest of the Overcomers, we began in Adar the final month in Gods calendar cycle. We responded to His call to us from Isaiah 46:910. He turned bitter things sweet. He replaced heaviness with joy. He opened hidden treasures with understanding for us within His times and seasons. He brought us into revelation knowledge in discerning His ways. He opened His Word in ways that were practical, powerful, and transformative. We are learning how to live from the Tree of Life, following as He leads, because only He knows the way.

He is not merely a way. He is the Way. He is the Tree of Life. Jesus said, I AM the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6 NKJV)

The month of Adar includes the story of the Feast of Purim, told in the book of Esther, that  celebrates the destruction of enemies with overcoming joy. Haman plots to destroy all the Jewish people which would include Queen Esther. After prayers and fasting, his scheme is exposed to the king, who authorizes an alternate plan for the Jewish people to overthrow this strategy with the ability to destroy their enemies, including the death of Haman.

Personal story from JoBeth:

Many years ago my husband and I experienced a grievous betrayal from Christians we had worked closely with for about 18 years. We fell on our knees declaring our trust in the Lords goodness, mercy, justice and provision for us when we had no idea where to go or what to do. The Lord sovereignly opened a door of opportunity for a totally new beginning; fulfilling a dream we had in our hearts for many years. He turned our sorrows into one of the most joyful and blessed times of our lives! We were truly able to go out in peace with rejoicing! Our God is more than able to give, beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heavinessthat He may be glorified. (Isaiah 61:3 NKJV)

A Call for Adar 5786

During this final month of Adar in Gods Holy Calendar, ask Abba to reveal to you His end from the beginning over your life.Take Yeshuas hand, committing to walking through HisBiblical Calendar with Him. Embrace His teachings. Be intentional. Choose to enter into the most fulfilling relationship with your Lord and Savior that you have ever known. Learn how to walk in His strategic victory. Our lives have changed because we chose obedience; but even more, because we discovered how deeply loved we are through the overcoming, empowering blood sacrifice of Yeshua.

 HIS LOVE CHANGES EVERYTHING!

Our Declaration Prayer:

Oh, Lord, in this month of Adar we declare that You are Jehovah Jireh our Provider; El Shaddai our all sufficient One; El Gibbor our Champion who fights for us and Jehovah Nissi our victory that we will be overcomers against any enemies or giants in our territories. We choose to receive the joy of the Lord, Your strength made manifest in our weakness to embrace the new beginnings with all the blessings You have for us. In Jesus Name, amen!
